I bought this watch from Japan 🇯🇵 and it is a jdm watch . I like you own Seiko 5 watches and a skx009 and a Padi Turtle 🐢 as well. I am having a hard time understanding you not seeing how this isn’t better than the entry level Seiko divers . The case on this much better than a turtle or a samurai. The finishing on this case is close to a Marine Master. The hardlex crystal is domed and the 6r15 movement is much better than a 4r36 movement with a 50 hour power reserve. The 6r15 is also more accurate movement as well. To me other than a Marine Master the Sumo is the watch to own 👍🏻

Hey dude thanks for the comms My point was that it isnt that different from entry level and the case isnt that much better or better at all compared to turtle or samurai. The sumo isnt a mid range within Seiko at all. The 6r15 movement is also older than the 4r movements and not that much better. 10 hours extra doesnt mean much and actually they are not as accurate as 4r but they were meant to be. They also have amplitude issues which makes them run somewhat inconsistent

Wider lugs, better bracelet and clasp and this might be the winner for me.

@@dinner_workingsly I think that is the issue with this for me. All seiko clasps are the same. Bracelet is 'meh' a bit clakety clack' I've sold it on, looking for something else to pop up
