The original xbox was really alien tech when it came out to me. The look and feel of the console itself. The menus were space agelike and the audio like this playing in the background. The controllers were huge like if it was built for big ass alien hands lol.. and the graphics were so incredible at the time. No other system has really wow'd me like the og xbox. Maybe the ps2 was close but the og xbox was so dramatically different to me at the time and honestly still is. Just love everything about that system. Xbox 360 was really great and better overall but it lost that mysterious kind of soulness that the og had..

According to Microsoft, the voice audios were public domain NASA voice recordings, But just tweaked, and the second part of ambient noises were according to microsoft, to make the Xbox seem like it made in the future or in another world. Although Microsoft tried to do that, but most likely kids didn't like it around that time. If you read Cheesy's comment, Microsoft didn't add that just to troll people.
