You'd think, regardless of situation, by number 10, leadership would begin to question an officers ability to command? At the very least, question his judgment. 56...wow...that um....really sounds excessive there buddy. I'll admit, unlike Russia, our priority is on crew survivability and our vehicles are very good at getting our boys home if at all possible...but surviving FIFTY SIX times...do you mean he was shot a bunch and survived one good I.E.D.? By the way, the Abrams and Bradley's were designed to be used in conjunction with each other SPECIFICALLY FOR FIGHTING RUSSIA!...so NO, it's not crazy....it's about godamn time!

At the beginning of Gulf War II there was a lot of on the ground footage coming out from the troops. It was historic because this was the first time getting a large amount of near real time footage from troops. Regarding long range open field battle, these older NATO weapons platforms were designed specifically to kill Warsaw Pact AFVs at long range as communist vehicles were incapable of engaging anything we possessed because of optics they provided very limited target acquisition. That said American and British forces of that time didn’t underestimate enemy capabilities. What I find crazy is that Ukrainian and Federation armored forces do not fight in larger formations and rarely have dismount support. It is Slavic though so are we really surprised? lol

IDK what this is, but, Russia deployed the dragon teeth on 1st and 2nd line of defence, they touched it in 2023 after taking robotyne, for a week and then retreated. Now Robotyne is back under Russian control, so to say our Abrams or in this case, it's actually a Bradley not an Abram, went through dragon teeth of Russia, is just bs, no front in anywhere near the 1st line of defence. There is no evidence no point for Russia to slow their own advances further by deploying more bottlenecks while advancing, especially when our side of the news says they have been sending waves of attacks causing massive casualties.

My guess is he probably doesn't care much for footage from the invaders, understandably. This war won't be decided by the capture of wheat fields, tree lines, or towns from either side anyways. Neither side is able to take enough land via frontline fighting to make a difference on the strategic level. This war will be settled via negotiations or the surrender of one side or the other because of political or economic reasons. The Germans took a LOT of land during WWII, didn't help them in the end. It ain't false hope, he's just reviewing footage. Also always keep in mind that ALL war footage is technically propaganda, no matter who it's from.

This is why Zalensky is always coming back for more money. They use ammunition and rockets like they have an unlimited supply because they essentially do and mostly America and some of Europe just send them more money and munitions whenever they ask for more. In this video the Bradley in first person view is just spraying ammo wastefully, sure its effective but thats like saying spraying a fire hose to extinguish a match is effective. Just because its true doesnt mean its what you should do. You could get the same effect using half the ammo if not less. I will give credit to the other Bradley to the rear left out of frame. They are doing a way better job picking their shots and conserving ammo and especially not popping smoke that he will drive out of in 2 seconds without even deviating course direction which makes no sense. Its the same thing with the HIMAR's if only one is needed they will fire off two or three. And dont get me started on the drones, using a drone with explosives to chase down and kill or injure a single basic soldier with only an AK, its just not even close to being strategically significant enough to justify the cost. There really needs to be a massive Audit of the war in Ukraine including the DOD and Ukraines Department of Defense to A) see if all the money given is actually all going towards guns gear and bombs and not in the pockets of American Weapons Contractors and both US and Ukrainian people in the government IE congressmen senators DOD officials CIA the usual suspects, and B) a cost analysis on amount of munitions used and what statistically has the best effectiveness in the outcome of the battle. Obviously this would just be a guideline because every battle is unique but if there is a trend of overuse of ammunition or munitions without showing a net gain of effectiveness then we have a problem. Im so happy we have DOGE, its a 4 letter agency instead of a 3 letter agency so its not blasphemy. Its like Elon and Vyvek saying "BUT THIS GOES TO 11" from the movie Spinal Tap. Its an alphabet agency true but its one better and goes to 11 hahahaha.
@minecraftfox43847 сағат бұрын
Yeah, that's war. If the USA had a peer, or even near peer threat, and we were engaged in a conflict with them. You'd see our troops doing this exact same thing. Plus, the more they use, the more that needs to be produced, which means cost per unit goes down too. Meaning we can produce more for less money.
@Marmot_with_a_Branch_of_Plums27 сағат бұрын
yeah, that's just war, dude. There's a stat about that I once heard that really surprised me; During World War II, an estimated 45,000 rounds of small arms ammunition were fired to kill one enemy soldier. Most shooting in combat is just suppressive fire.
@Marmot_with_a_Branch_of_Plums26 сағат бұрын
And the majority of aid sent isn't money, it's overwhelmingly military equipment, but the financial aid that is sent is monitored very closely. Also, the dollar value of the equipment being sent is used to purchase new modern equipment for the US military. The US gets rid of old aging stock that's already been paid for and has to be dealt with anyways, and gets new equipment in return, all while degrading one of our main adversaries military. It's a win-win for the US.
