The reason why you heard Kendo's scream in that particular spot is because the NW corner of the police station (the hallway you were in) is actually adjacent to the back alley behind Kendo's shop. With open windows in there, it's plausible that you could hear him from there.

Also to get back to Kendos shop you have to go back to where you started and take the sewer holes back to his shope like at the beginning. I can't believe he didnt fucking think of that....remember in this mod you can get to kendos from the basement.

Re2 does have strong macabre horror vibes with the fact kendos daughter turns into a zombie then his is murdered in his own gun shop of all places, birkin has turned into a abomination and is stalking around looking for sherry while annette is trying to kill him. Plus chief irons murderous ways, sheltered in his office with a young female corpse. This was a big switch from re1. I hope to play this mod soon plus lords of necropolis re3 mod

I couldn't hum half the tracks in RE2 but the basement theme and the laboratory theme are fucking incredible. Master class tracks that really exude the feeling of cold, dead, dirty basement and sterile, frozen, empty lab.

Yeah, I always despised these streaming guys for that. You are doing the game in front of an audience, you expect the same audience to pay you for watching you play, you play like a fucking n00b and go angry when someone from that audience wants to try to help you, so that your gameplay can actually look somewhat good. They are just full of their egos, want to do all by themselves. Do that while you are not streaming, get to know the game first and then start streaming.

For me the songs you named from this classic sound track just makes me happy and reminds me of the first fear I felt for a video game as a child. RPD is the greatest game theme song imo. For RE3 I think there is a ton of good Theme songs but that one when you leave the bar after meeting with Brad is just ughh so perfect and creepy as fuck!

I like seeing the choices to take out more zombies in this run. In some of your previous mod runs, I would often think "you're going to pass this room a lot of times, taking a few seconds to knife that zombie would save you a lot of health later". I know in some cases they respawn or despawn at certain points, and when doing a speedrun, you avoid killing anything you possibly can to save the frames, but it just saves so many cheeky grabs in these mods.

One time i was streaming my first playthrough of this game and there was this dude in chat that was like "I can tell you where you are supposed to go and how to solve every puzzle in the game" i told him, if i wanted to have a guide i would be using a guide. But im playing blind to have fun. He would say okay.... THEN THE MOMENT I GET TO A PUZZLE he would be like "want me to tell you how to solve it?" then after me explaining to him i dont want to know he would say okay. Then he would keep asking me if i wanted help solving puzzles if i was having trouble. People can be pretty inconsiderate.

Code Veronica has the best soundtrack to me. Also, being able to softlock the game on a first playthrough because you don’t know when the game is going to force you to switch characters is bs. I love CV, but I think that’s just bad game design

Digital Morph CV is my least favorite RE because of the several ways you can softlock the game. Way back when I had to restart because I had no ammo for the plane Tyrant and I didn’t put Claire’s weapons in the item box before I started playing as Chris. I’ve beaten CV once after I believe 4 legitimate attempts/restarts. That was enough for me.

33:30 as far as i know thats actually not true. the herb is in the alternate mode. there is no herb in the original mode for usa / japan. in europe however the original mode was the alternate mode from the usa / japan version and the alternate mode was skipped entirely. or in other words: there was always an herb there for the european player.

I feel like this is what original RE2 should've been from the beginning. The fear when you see a group of zombies either run or shamble quickly towards you and you only have a handgun and knife leads to a much better and more fearful survival horror experience.

I watched it 11 months to late, but that kendo scream, maybe there was an way to go back ... @ the beginning kendo lock the door but bwak was able to unlock it 😉 If he go through the garage to the back of the police station, then Streets with lickers, mini sewer to A side of the truck the shop should be able to enter, maybe far more after that to find kendo’s body... All the way 4 the magnum and kendo loot maybe worth it in the end ?

You can get it later after you hear Kendos scream but Bawk couldnt remember how to get back to Kendos through the basement jail area like he did at the beginning of the playthrough. He tried to go back to Kendo through the front yard of the police station and it wouldn't let him. said it was too dangerous to go back outside.
