This is more like a discussion than an educational video. However, they still point out some interesting facts and points of view. Keep it up.

I am a bit disappointed by the quality of the material offered here. Khan Academy does Math excellently, but History.. I'm not a fan. Sounds like a lot of flirting recorded with a little bit of information and badly timed jokes stuffed in the gaps. I wouldn't give it a thumbs down, but it doesn't deserve the opposite either. Stick to the subject and keep the "mind map" clear and concise. Dotting down a bunch of keywords does not help anybody at all. Please remove this video, put some thought into it and re-upload. Thank you for your efforts, but surely and hopefully this can be improved.

@Cythil
@Cythil 8 жыл бұрын
+LegoWarFilms Well to be more precise the USSR was create in 1922 and lasted to 1991. Of course is origins is traced back further. Though the Bolsheviks did not start to take over until 1917 at the tail end of World War I. (long bitter righting in WWI had lead to people being pretty feed up with the Tzar. Reforms where implemented a bit to late and the Bolsheviks exploited the turmoil at the time.)

Let's start off with how WRONG you are. (I'm in no way saying either of them is better than the other, I'm just saying that this analogy is just stupid.) Stalin was/is not "Hitler Part II". Sure, Stalin killed people and so did Hitler, both of them had concentration camps; is that the only ground you're basing your argument on? Hitler was a racist and fascist dictator while Stalin was a Communist dictator (although not entirely, his views of Communism were very different) and had chronic paranoia. Hitler's entire dictatorship was based on making Germany "racially pure" which meant he killed any biological outsiders which posed a threat to the pure Germans. Stalin's dictatorship was entirely based on spreading Communism and extending his territory. Not only did the two differ in ideologies, they were also different in personal natures. Hitler condemned alcohol and drugs and Stalin was a heavy alcohol addict. Hitler was brave enough to declare war on the USA while Stalin was a coward who would've never declared a war on the USA because he knew he wouldn't win, so in that regard, Stalin was more clever. In fact, if you've read the stuff Russia published after the disintegration, you will realise how unbothered Stalin was about the USA. Anyway, Hitler started World War II and killed so many civilians in the process, and honestly, nobody can tell who was worse than whom, maybe you should research your facts before you make history videos. Also, please change your videos' format; it's not fun to hear two adults sound indecisive and it's definitely not fun when they ask random questions right in the middle and keep sounding extremely confused all the time. PLEASE MAKE BETTER VIDEOS.
