if it was first it would make no sense, there is no stablished status quo, so there is nothing to be broken, if you watch it last you see how things fall into place as the first season has no progression during its episodes, the only real progress is in the origins, soe it makes no sense to watch it first when there is nothing stablished prior to it it breaks a little the continuity with volpina but it is way better to watch it last

One thing I really like about Miraculous is how both of the characters fell in love with the other's mask. Adrien fell in love with Ladybug because of her confidence when real life Marinette is more shy. Marinette fell in love with Adrien who must pretend to be this perfect little heir all the time while the real Adrien is more goofy and free spirited. It makes their love story about juvenile crushes that grow as they learn the other is a human with flaws and fall in love with that part of them, too.

The Miraculous were meant to be used for good. However, that didn't prevent certain holders to use them for evil, like Hawk Moth. Because of that, there's a need to understand the powers of each Miraculous so it can be fought when used for evil. The Butterfly Miraculous was meant to create superheroes, not supervillains, but when used for evil, only the Ladybug Miraculous can be used to fight it, because of its ability to prevent akumas from multiplying and fix all the damages caused by akumatized villains.

Word of god says that his longevity is the result of his lifestyle, not the turtle miraculous. Its never out right stated in the show ether way. If you pause the video just right, you can get a good look at the other miraculous. The yellow one has black and yellow stripes and insect wings. I always assumed that the butterfly was meant for Luke reinforcements or something, to temporarily give others powers if the hero’s need more help and that the ladybug’s purification power was meant to be a failsafe, like if the butterfly hero got hurt in battle and wasn’t able to de-akumatize the temporary hero themselves the ladybug could do it for them Edit: so I just found out that hawkmoth’s are actually mostly brown, but the volupial mint moth has a silver head (like Gabriel’s silver mask) and a purple body (like Gabriel’s purple suit) so….

Then again people like Zamber and Shadydoorags came in later and already see the problems with certain character portrayals so I guess we should have seen the signs of what this show would become(Marinette used to be SO adorable).
