had by g road test in orilia. here are few things for those who have test scheduled - 1) hardly any wait time. 2) 2 lane highway, speed 100 (the instructor will tell u as well) 3) 2 times highway entry and exit 4) only highway test,no parallel parking, 3 point turn etc. 5) while merging on highway make sure to have speed of 100 or slightly more. Same while on the highway and changing lanes. i failed bcoz i merged and changed lanes at less than 100kmph, i was at 96kmph. In short, either in city or highway,keep speed same or above the limit specified, not below it. 6) keep turning ur head right left etc.

OMG they failed you because of 96kmph!? That's too strict! I failed once at the Downsview due to too slow to marge and the instructor told me minimum is 85kmph. I'm now puzzled...!

Hey guys at time 11:30 in the video, the driver stays in the right lane. But recently that has changed because that lane now exits to the right only and you'll now need to go the left lane to be able to go straight, cross the bridge and enter the highway. I almost failed because of this, but luckily the instructor passed me. I think these changes are because of bike lanes!

Right now due to covid: no residental area driving. When returning north on highway, you go past burnside and exit on the next exit and go strait all the way until laclie street and then turn right and left into the drive test.

I had my G drive test from G1 directly today, I passed in first attempt. I got nervous when I saw old white lady ruth because she was my examiner today. I got anxious in starting but got the confidence back and started driving. Today due to construction on South highway, she took me from North highway and made me change lanes many times, and everything perfect in that. She was telling instructions straight to the point and was clear about everything. She told me if i have any doubt also i can ask her. I followed all her instructions and i passed the exam in very first attempt from G1 to G. I found she was very nice to me. I don't know why people always post negative comment about her, i found her to be extremely professional in her work and which is good. Rest entire process was smooth and fast in drive test Centre. Would recommend people to go here! One tip, I'll give is Just be Confident and be yourself. Always believe in your practice because even I had 7 years around experience in India. If you're confident and driving with all rules and regulation, everything will be fine.

I just did my G test today and the route was a bit different, we went down Fittons Road and turned right onto highway 12 then merged onto highway 11. Drove down highway 11 until the exit on Sundial Drive, turned right onto Lucille Drive and drove straight back to the Driving Center. Very quick route and did no parking.

Thanks for the video but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go Orillia for driving test and there is only and only reason is the old white lady instructor. You will never pass the test with her. You will realize why I am saying this if you check the reviews in google. But thanks again for the details video.

Confirmed this but found out too late lol. July 2022, son got that examiner for his G test in Orillia, he's a good driver by the way. There were orange & black traffic drums (large cones) on highway 11. He reduced speed slightly going past the traffic cones and she failed him for going below 100 km. I guess she wants you to floor it through a construction zone? He said he was the only car in the lane, nothing was an issue at all. After looking at google reviews and seeing how long people have complained about her, and she still works there then obviously nobody is listening and/or nobody cares. I am so turned off, will avoid Orillia even for a visit, which is a shame, because it's pretty.
