Crappie the size of your ARM!

We're out Ice fishing Crappie with my favorite lure, the Northland Tackle buckshot spoon. It turns out, there's a local lake FULL of Crappie just waiting to be Ice fished! We decided to spend some time there while we waited for Lake Simcoe to freeze up. Ice Fishing for Crappie turned out to be really fun and we found the Northland Tackle Buckshot spoon did well for these fish, just like they do for Perch!

Same as when I'm fishing, a bit of resistance when pulling by hand.

If you don't want the auger falling through take a two by four and a hole saw drill a hole in the centre slide it over the shaft put your wing nut back in make your two-by-four just slightly bigger than your auger and the whole in the centre of the two by four just a tad bigger than the shaft so it doesn't catch your leg it will spin freely that's all I did then it can't fall down through and it can't come past the wing nut

@@OrilliaFishing I know guys that have used Frisbees but they get cold and brittle and crack so I find a piece of wood works the best
