In 2022, Ohtani in a weak team did not win the MVP despite having 15 wins, a 2.33 ERA, 219 strikeouts, 34 home runs, 95 RBIs, and reaching the double qualifying number for the first time in MLB. The excuse was that Judge's 62 home runs will never be seen again but Ohtani's performance can be seen anytime, but if he could hit 60 home runs every season, Ohtani should have won in 2022, considering the rarity value and total stats comparison.

Take a huge pay cut? Because he's earning a big paycheck, but the Dodgers already have a massive payroll and lots of outfield talent. It would be up to Teoscar to work out a deal that favored the Dodgers as well as something he's happy with, but he's pretty much been rather open about this being a "get back to where he was" season so he can cash in. I don't know if the Dodgers will be able to keep him.

Mullins struck out, but because the ball bounced before getting caught mullins dashed to first, it should have been a routine play for will smith to throw it to first. I used to see it from ohtani when he was pitching, when he strike out pitch was his splitter, batters after striking out usually dash to firat and catchers throw them out.
