This really needed the image of Nick when he realized he was going to the post season for the first time. Gives me chills thinking about it.

Nick Markakis and Terry Crowley were two hitters that were very clutch and never got the credit they deserve from fans outside of Baltimore. Its so fitting that two of the most underrated players in franchise history are getting inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame on the same night.

Back in 2008 I caught a homerun ball from him near Eutah Street at 13 years old. Just happened to walk over there for food. Still have the ball. Plus, it’s a Yankees stadium commemorative ball

I know this is a Nick Markakis video, and I miss the dude something fierce, but man, this also makes me nostalgia for Fred Manfra and Gary Thorne.

God, I loved listening to Gary Thorne call an O's game.

The Orioles fans have been spoiled with some great announcers. I truly enjoyed Thorne and still the insight of Palmer. Jon Miller. Joe Angel. Chuck Thompson. I do like Kevin Brown. He just keeps getting better, but it'd been rough recently.

i was so bummed when he went to atlanta, was my favorite player and one I thought would retire an oriole.
@williamseifert1694 ай бұрын
so let me get this straight... He was arguably a gold glove quality outfielder for the entirety of his career and you show like three outfield plays? He routinely led the team year after year in doubles an extra base hits. He made incredible sliding catches and throwing runners out what seemed like almost every game. And all you can muster is basically a collage of home runs?! You should be ashamed of yourselves. This video was a joke and in no way shows his skill level and the all-around talent that he had.

@mikekellum6238 As an oriole, he slashed .290/.358/.435. OPS+ Of 113. May not be "great", but was very productive. He also came up big in a lot of clutch spots.
