I love how your 'tabletop standard' is about 400 times better than most people can dream of doing! Great video, really helpful techniques.

You're one of the few miniature painters I watch long videos from! Every minute is interesting and full of worthy advice!

I like that despite how many colors there actually in the mini, it never feels too much to the eyes.

Looking great. You mentioned the bone part that connects the hair - it's probably a "hair Squig" and those are teeth & eyes.

Amazing video as always, but what's happened to the music? The old music was the best intro in Warhammer! 😁

Another great video. Obviously the painting is top level, but it's the detailed explanations that I really like 👍

really appreciated you sharing this style across the past few videos! I've been frustrated recently trying to get perfectly smooth opaque applications but just started working on a model using some of these techniques and it is just so much more fun and satisfying!

I've tried to paint your style and it works quite well, thanks for the tutorials. It also made me realize just how insane your brush control is. Out of curiosity, do you paint with some kind of magnifiing glass?

Hi Richard, great video but it would be great if there was more light. It's sometimes hard to see what you're doing :(

Hi Richard, just a quick question. Do you decanter your citadel paints? Looking at them on the wet palette they appear to be applied with a dropper bottle. Would be interested to know your thoughts on this. Also love the vod keep them coming.
@demonrich3 жыл бұрын
No, I just use a brush to transfer them to the wet palette and then mix in a couple of drops of water. I quite like pots as they give me more control!

Question (this is not a critique just a curiosity) why do you go for NMM instead of TMM? I ask because i have noticed a lot of high lvl patreon painters such as yourself go for NMM instead of TMM. And i just wonder what the reason for this is?
@nullbraintheconfused19933 жыл бұрын
Well, I like it better since you can do much more with NMM, like reflections, what kind of material you want to imitate, color choice. it's a nice challenge as well. Metallic paints are also kinda gross to work with, but there are painters who specialize in it and can do amazing things. NMM gives a coherent look, and that I like. Just speaking for myself here and I'm a noob :)

The audio levels are incredibly inbalanced between the intro song and your commentary
