Orkney: Westray circumnavigation, plus Faray

It is not unusual to meet kayakers who have been to Shetland, but not Orkney, yet Orkney is arguably a better sea kayaking destination. Though lacking the most dramatic features found on Shetland, Orkney offers a better range of kayaking. So not just lots of rock gardens and striking cliffs, there is also interesting and demanding tidal flows, a greater range of islands to the North which offer a unique kayaking experience, and also more poor weather options, like as in Scapa Flow.
