Funniest part about Blood Axes is that the extent of their sneakiness is to go around rather than charging forward. They're sneaky for orks but they're not that sneaky and the irony makes them so funny and awesome

Loving the alternate Tau lists. Brian always plays to win and his lists represent that. These lists seem to prioritise fun and story over winning, which is nice. Question: Where is he getting the data sheets for his legends models?

Great game and great sets as usual. "Without a warning the perimeter alarm trips"............. Isn't the alarm itself the warning? -It's almost like GW has an AP for their game that they could use to update and change rules for players until their new books came out....... Naw that would be too hard. -I'm not a big fan of TacoTime but at least what they make is food, unlike TacoBell which just sells piles of lukewarm bacteria havens wrapped in paper. -Always wondered why "Smart Missiles" sit at a not that smart BS 3+.

To be fair, while Tau are super weak atm, this isn't a remotely competitive Tau list here. He is playing a very weak, fluffy list. If his intention was to try and get a win, he'd just be stacking breachers/transports and battlesuits/or farsight commanders. No real Tau list would have this many kroot units lol, they are pretty terrible. You'd take one at most just to scout or rush to an objective if you took any at all.

@@AllGodsDue yep, a shooty army with no ap and only bs4 for its troops. Tau have been stuck playing riptides and drones for 3 editions now. GW has killed to most interesting and futuristic army of the game.

@@AllGodsDue I completely agree with this, the list I run includes a variety of kroot and T’au and it’s by no means a competitive list but this list is SO much less competitive. Bret really went for the reinforcement/patrol kind of list theme.

@@Sollapoke yeah but the problem is that most Codices only have one or two lists that are competitive and the rest is completely outclassed to the point of unplayability. If you play anything than a riptide shield swarm variant... you need to go against a really fluffy list from most armies. The most frustrating thing is that when the Tau codex will come out, 10th ed will be anounced in the same year or early 2023. Which really sucks for players who have spent thousands of dollars on an army that they haven't been able to play since 9th came out.

I mean, maybe at some of the franchises, it really just depends. Pizza hut's dough comes in frozen and is proofed before use, sausage comes in frozen, but everything else is is as "fresh" as they can ship it usually. Papa john's ship all of their dough from Louisville and is never frozen just refrigerated. The reheated thing is just wrong, they are cooked or else you are just eating raw dough and uncooked veggies.

Brian and I actually talked a lot about whether the Devilfish should be able to shoot. Sorta like a Tau Hammerfall bunker, ha. Maybe via a 1CP strat? In the end we decided to just have them be part of the terrain on the table to make it more of a "standard" game if that makes sense.

And again we see plainly GW's game design 100% aimed at selling minis with 0% thought to ballance and players who have invested money in an army other than the latest codex. There is no way to play other than min maxing anymore. I am so done with this game. Yeah I'm bitter that my T'au are unplayable.

@@zmcg This is such a untrue fan theory. GW are just genuinely bad at balance. If you want proof that they don't release overpowered models and codexes to just get sells look at the entire hedonites of slaanesh model line that came out last year. They released an entire model line for that new codex, and it was complete shit and is still complete shit competitively. Its been one of the worst codexes its entire lifespan. GW aims their sells strat toward model collectors, not balance.
