Words cannot describe how unrealistic the Potillo’s hot dog looked compared to the soggy mess of those in its home town. Quality has plummeted since Mr. Portillo sold and is now enjoying the key west lifestyle. So glad you had a good experience, especially Princess!☺️ Can you review La Petite Cafe and Primo Piazza (maybe breakfast this time)? ☺️

I'm so glad you went to Portillo's! Portillo's has the absolute best hotdogs! Now I know people have been asking to have the fries changed to Vegan for years... so let's hope they do this. BTW I know Bear doesn't do sweets but the chocolate cake, strawberry shortcake & lemon cake are worth a try.. sadly for Princess not vegan.

As a child growing up in Brooklyn, at the local deli they would take fat hot dogs called special and slice them very thin lengthwise and put them on club bread with Cole slaw and mustard. While I love all hot dogs, that was my fav.

At Mel's diner, they slice the dogs in half lengthwise too but they don't pot club bread, cole slaw, or mustard. We need to try that!

Portillos! Sadly Bear the family that owned Portillos sold Portillos. While they’re doing a good job, Family owned was better 😊 (profits, it’s ok, at least they’re keeping the poppy seed buns! I mean, some places you can’t buy poppy seed buns! Chocolate cake has less icing and smaller slices, but, it’s ok!)

Earl of Sandwich at Disney Springs regularly carries a vegan version of the their meatball sub with vegan meatballs and sometimes they will have a vegan bbq chicken sandwich. We've done reviews of both here on the channel.
