My great grandfather used to be on the news in our hometown and he got to meet a lot of famous people like a few presidents, Astronauts and so on. He actually got to meet Ripley! My uncle has an autograph plus the letter from his secretary saying where they were meeting at, What he was going to be wearing, What car he was riding in...Even gave the license plate number. I sure wish I could have known him but he passed away way before I was born.

I just have an old memory going here when it was built upside down and my mom and I were just feeding duckies nearby, and there was this like.. magic game across the street that we went to. It was probably one of the safest and most comfortable parts of my childhood.

Oh wow, thats a trip down memory lane. I visited here in ‘92 when on holiday from the UK doin the Disney and Universal Studios thing. It was the first Ripleys I ever visited - and in my opinion, the best, having visited several others since then. The building is unmistakeable. The only exhibit that I really remember - apart from the usual Ripleys stuff was a full sized 1920’s car made out of matchsticks. Robert Wadlow, wearing some up to date clothes and and a new haircut, not the suit hes usually in made me chuckle !! Thanks Jacob keep it up my friend :)

The swings have the same visual trick that you sometimes see with the black ballet silhouette. Depending on how you look at it, it can either be going clockwise or counterclockwise! Crazy.

A cool idea is if you happen to be in the area (maybe after covid is done) bentlyville in Duluth MN goes on all December and its amazing christmas fun. I think its one of the biggest Christmas displays in the usa and you walk through it and get free treats, meet santa, roast marshmallows, ect. Though this year its drive through Christmas fun lol .

This video is awesome! Thanks for sharing! I have a question, How many Ripley's Believe It or Nots are there in the world? I could Google it, but I am curious. I love touring places, so I think I'd love this place. Where I live, we have a car museum and Casey Jones Village in Jackson, TN. I think you'd love Rusty's TV and Car Museum because it has a few famous cars and replicas of famous cars. The Casey Jones Village has a train museum and a restaurant that has a delicious buffet. It also has mini golf and Shops in the Village, where you can go shopping. Downtown has a lot of cool stuff, too, like a Music Museum and a place where you can listen to music called the AMP. In Jackson, we don't have much attractions, but there is a place near here called the Discovery Park of America. It is sort of like a mini Smithsonian. You could spend more than one day there looking at all the exhibits. Well, hopefully, you get to read this. If not, just know that you are doing a great job here! Much better than politics lol!

Could do without the mangled animals but otherwise interesting. Did you know that Ripley is buried in No. CA in a rather ordinary cemetery with no special acolades. History Hunters, also on you tube, visits a lot of No. and Central CA cemeteries and he was on one of their vlogs. You might want to visit it also
