Very cool video. I was not expecting this truck capable as that ! Very impressed ! Why not building a trial 6x6 truck ? I need to add this idea in my projects list 😉

The 6x6 was recently built in this vid - it is now a semi tractor unit but a trials truck would be epic!

Thanks @herbieRCpaints53 :) They're around £80 for a roller, another £25-£30 for electrics plus a radio

Orlando Hunter needs to make an M35a2 with all 10 wheels that would be awesome especially if they added the winch

I wish Orlandoo would make an 8 x 8 HEMTT…

I see you guys upgraded to the metal driveshafts... is that because the stock ones don't last 5 minutes?

The plastic ones are fine for scale trailing, which is what the truck is designed for, but since we wanted to beat the snot out of it with an oversize motor on extreme terrain, $30 worth of shafts seemed like a pretty reasonable investment :)

What would you recommend for rpm's for the motor? I just put mine together and I have no clue which motor I should use
@tiny4x4463 ай бұрын
I'd say 300rpm for a brushed motor and definitely go for the longer can N30 (needs the upgrade motor mount). For the brushless outrunner the 1:50 or 1:100 are recommended by the manufacturer but we've found the faster 1:30 still has plenty enough torque in the 4x4
