It seems Tyner and Louis Hayes cant hear each other on stage, because time goes off in Tyners solos. Frequent throughout the show. Usual big stage problems... yet Mccoy has enough of it on Inner Glimpse and proceeds to tear the house down, with Freddie too. Incredible and inspiring playing by all.

ok I checked out that lick video, and of all the jazz I have listened to the last several decades, I have never consciously noticed anyone use it, even if they did, as its one of the most bland corny boring devices I have ever heard...I hate that lick, and if anyone still plays it, they need to stop now...only the original era guys are allowed to. why anyone picked that out to copy is beyond me as it aint that great, its more like filler between actual creative playing. That being said, the thing about bebop and bebop licks, is it all starts to sound the same pretty quickly, espec when played fast, even tho guys permutate them in many different ways and guys recycle and modify their licks all the time, I am kinda done with bebop, so bring on post bop, etc.
