My grandpa, Gilbert Arthur Mills, was onboard the USS Mahan 7DEC1944 during the Battle of Ormoc Bay. His ship was disabled by kamikaze attacks but he survived the war.

Oneway to enrich oneself is to collaborate with the task master ( spanish, americans and japanese occupiers) and help in enslaving the locals, plundering and pillaging the land.

While there is some truth in this video, the idea that Ormoc quickly recovered from Super Typhoon Yolanda is untrue! Supplies and aid DID NOT come in quickly. The Ormoc gov was completely unable to do anything. Residents did not rebuild immediately. Talk to me, a sirvivor. Learn the truth about what really happened! No police, no rescue, no help. Looting and lawless practices until police came in from Cebu City.
