Ornament Mug Rugs & Quilt Pattern! Quiltmas in July 2022

We know you all love a good Mug Rug pattern, this adorable holiday design includes instructions for a set of mug rugs AND three quilt sizes!
Ornament Collection is a scrap- and fat quarter-friendly Christmas pattern that allows you to showcase your favorite holiday prints in ornament quilt blocks.
We have kits available for Mug Rugs and a lap-sized quilt featuring Oh What Fun from Paintbrush Studios. It's super cute and has lots of fun fussy cutting possibilities to make your ornament blocks adorable.

I love these adorable mug rugs! Your tutorials are terrific & even a “well seasoned” sewer like myself can learn something new. I’ll be 68 day after tomorrow & I made my first wearable garment 55 yrs ago. In all those years I never realized I should pin fabric using 2 pins (like you demonstrated) for accuracy! Thank you! 😍

Do you lower your stitch length when you press open? What is your stitch length of choice ?

It's lowered a very small amount compared to most other quilters but generally stays around 2.3-2.5.

So on my pattern I downloaded there is some confusion, on #6 on the background instructions it says “6. Cut zero (two, two, three) 4 ½-inch by WOF strips. Crosscut each strip into four 4 ½-inch by 8 ½-inch rectangles for a total of zero.” How many do we need?

It depends on what size you need. If you're making the mug rugs you don't need any. If you're making one of the quilt sizes, they're listed from smallest to largest in the parentheses.)
