Yes, some tools are missing because they are not straightforward to bring into UE. But we will be adding them over time.

Once your liscence expires do the changes you make still exist? Or does it revert back to the orginal groom? Ie are they permenantly baked into the UNREAL groom?

The biggest problem I had with grooms is the UV root, does this plugin automatically set it?

Ornatrix hair UVs are based on the distribution/scatter source mesh, so yes. When you generate Ornatrix hair on a mesh the roots UVs are automatically set.

@@Ephere wait, so if i have a character with like a pattern of color on the base mesh, would that also translate to the fur? And what if i have a system that masks out parts of a character (when you put on clothes), would there also be a way to update a dynamic material instance to hide the fur dynamically?? If it works this would be a perfect upgrade for me

In Unreal Engine you have to use the native tools to simulate the hair.

So I've created a hairstyle for a character in zbrush using various brushes. I have then exported the hair into 3ds max for animation, but I was wondering is it possible to convert the hair to ornatrix so it looks more realistic? Thanks

@@JaySamurai79 As for your question, I am not sure what you mean by converting to Ornatrix. We have tutorials about converting hair to Ornatrix using the Ox Guides from Shape (and then Ox Hair from Guides) modifier. You can try using that.
