@@arthursk5607 Yes, there are tons of words and grammar that are same in hindi and gujarati. We learn gujarati from our parents but pick-up hindi just by watching movies and series!

The Gurjaras have a different voice command set as compared to the Indians, a blend of Hindi/Sanskrit with the Gujarati/Rajasthani dialect mixed in. Would be fun to see what the other civs have as languages. It is logical for the Bengalis to have Bengali. Dravidians could be Tamil and Hindustanis can stay with the original voice acting/add more Urdu

Dravidians is almost chaste Tamil, to the point where I understand almost everything they say. Kudos to the Tamil pronunciation as well; I remember old Indians having cringe Hindi pronunciation

Gurjaras are represented ethnic Gujarati(Gujarat) and Rajasthani(Rajasthan), same ways Dravidian for Tamil(Tamil Nadu, North Sri Lanka), Malayalam(Kerala), Telegu and Kannada, Bengalis for West Bengal, Tripura and East Bengal(Bangladesh). and Hindustani for Hindi-Urdu and Punjabi speaking region like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh AND Kashmir. They are many India civs and unique india civ like Manipur, Assam(Ahom), Sihala(Sri Lanka), Kalinga/Ganga(Orissa and Andhra Pradesh ), the Lingaraja Temple or Jagannath Temple as Wonder, the architecture are different from Gujaras, Bengalis and Dravidian/Tamil temple/wonder.

I think it is that each enemy has a relic. I guarantee yellow started with the relic and if you would have looked at purple's base they also had one. that way if you do the three relic victory you have to almost defeat 3 enemies.

Fun fact, "Loon" means salt in Rajasthani which is what Luni river is named after cuz it has high salt content (it flows through the desert and dissolves a lot of salt into it)

Vaaat D: This is way earlier than expected! I'm not complaining tho :D Let's gooooo! 14 14 14! Edit: The Shrivamsha Rider unit is very interesting, not really a replacement of Knights. First impression, it might not be good in castle age against focus-firing, but might be very cost-efficient frontline in post-imp / against casual patrol players due to rapid recharge of the "shield". I'll be disappointed if the discounted Hussar outperforms them as anti-ranged frontline role tho.

This campaign become extreme hard when change civ to guraja. We have no good archer, bad pike,not good trash( and trash is hard countered in this campaign too)

I'm not sold on the "dodge" mechanic from the new Shrivamsha Riders. From what i can tell watching this video it just seems confusing and makes it hard, if not impossible, to tell how much damage they can ultimately take..

That's looking at it incorrectly. The dodge mechanic blocks ALL damage if there is enough charge to do so. Even Trebuchet shots will deal zero damage if the Shrivamsha Rider has enough gauge to dodge a hit (at least 20% of the gauge). Each dodge consumes 20% of the gauge, and if there isn't enough gauge available, the rider takes the hit as normal. In essence, do not fight Shrivamsha Riders with small numbers of ranged units. You need a lot of shots to overwhelm their dodge mechanic. In fact, you're just better off fighting them with melee; they are beaten cost-effectively by Knights with equal resources.

It seems they still speak Sanskrit. I don't know much about the Gurjaras, but I think they are also an Aryan people, so that's accurate? Also, they seem to represent the old Indians about as much as the new Hindustanis, so the name change kinda makes more sense to me now as a symbolic change instead of one for the sake of historical accuracy.

This is actually quite problematic if you don't own the DLC. You cannot load a saved game where you play as a DLC civ, meaning if you screw up, you have to restart from the beginning.

Yes! People are calling it their Protoss shield, because it has to be depleted before any health damage gets taken (only applies to ranged attacks). I'll be doing more in-depth looks at the new unique units in the coming days :)
