He was clearly hurt from when the heartblood died, since he hasn't come out of his home since then and this line is conveying that. You are right that Ornn doesn't like worship, which is why he liked the heartblooded so much. Instead of bringing offerings to Ornn, the heartblooded just forged and asked for appraisal of their creations.

@@Boguinnn I don't see Ornn as a gloom and Doom person at all. While yes he suffered, doesn't mean that he's still in suffering. He's a god of the craft, it makes sense he would value work and want to craft. While his own isolation could be seen as him being sad, I'd rather see it as him just being what he's always been, introvert and a bit antisocial. It could be boring, sure, but also valid.

@@jb17415 Ornn, in League, is decent but fairly mediocre early game. If he makes it to late game safely, not only is he extremely durable and throws out damage with a generous helping of CC to boot, he improves the items of his teammates to make them a lot more difficult to deal with as well. So the high mana cost makes sense considering how strong he is late game.

@@jb17415 nothing really references the mana cost it. Perhaps his laning phase mana problems? He doesn't have much mana early. But in league he's a late game Hyper tank that upgrades his team's items, could literally tank on the whole teams damage and he deals damage himself pretty well.

I feel like Ornn is completely alright with being forgotten if it means that no one will die because of him anymore, he is as grumpy as he is hurt. But I think now more than any time is when the Heartbloods should stand up again, for him and themselves. Voli and the Winter's Claw can spill all the talk about "survival of the strong" they want, but true survival is more than just letting savagery take control of you, and even if Seju hasn't completely bought Voli's ideology she still is just leading her people to a slow and painful demise. But it would be cool to have more Ashe centered stories, to know how she is leading her people.

Ok here are some cool combinations I think can be neat with Ornn: Jax- the obvious one since it's clear Ornn is the pairing for Jax. Not to mention both champions can be a really powerful win con on their own. Pantheon- with the protection from Targon and Frejlord, killing Pantheon can be really hard and if you manage to put a weapon on Pantheon or any fated unit that'll trigger fated and help level up Pantheon. Not to mention that forge and fated is +2/+2 in stats which is great regrdless if the unit is equipped or not. Riven- Riven herself can gain a lot of attack, and with the added stats and her level 2 she can reach a lot of attack and can very easily level up Ornn. From my understanding Ornn doesn't have to see you strike with a 10+ power ally so I assume he'll just level up in your deck if you did the strike. Maybe this also will make Arrel the Tracker playble, but that's too much copium. This are all of the ones I could think of, you need at least an improvise unit to make Ornn worth it since you want to make use of his forge mechanic. Granted, each region comes with equipments regardless of improvise units so you can use some of them, but I think the improvise units are your best way to go. But anyway he looks very cool imo and I'm excited to experiment with him.

You got that right, he doesn't need to see it, it just needs to happen over the course of the game. I do think Ornn will mainly just be combined with Jax, possibly also Master Yi as he stands to benefit from all those cheap forge spells and big swings too. Not to mention Preparation could be good to drop cheaper Ornns

Renekton- though not much for synergy, renekton is about aggression, and with ornns forge as a support it could give renek and his cards the boost they need to carry out any assault, plus if you can get both renek and ornn in play with enough buffs on renek, you could level them both simultaneously

@@cameroncook653 Hmm sure it can work, but I think Renekton preffers a region like Demacia rather than Frejlord because Demacia provides him with cards like Cataclysm, Single Combat and Concertad Strike which are all great for leveling him up. Now that you mention it you can try him out with the new Shuriman equipment landmark so he can work for sure.
