i've been vigor checking people the past few days with the "golden sword of innumerable stabs", while wearing the rakshasha armor. 1900 in one hit on most people, more if they have weaker armor and i'm full health. it's hilarious, because literally every single group i run into is running "meta weapons" just spamming ashes of war (not actual meta, things like blasphemous blade, rellana's twinblades, so on), or doing pure blood builds. none of them have been prepared to get one shot by this thing. took out a group of 3 with it earlier, fucking glorious. it's both a vigor check, and a skill check. if you see the leap and don't dodge, you've failed the skill check. if you don't live through said failure, you've failed the vigor/armor check. it's pretty fun. really good greatsword moveset too, claymore thrust heavy and crouching thrust. if you want my build (anyone), full rakshasha armor, dagger talisman, two hander talisman (it's a new one), alexander, and full health damage boost talisman (because with rakshasha your defense is shot in favor of more damage, epic passive set of armor). flask is opaline (just in case) and faith damage boost (because i'm rocking a pure quality build, and have just enough faith to use the sword). figured pvp would be ass in this, just like the base game. and it is. but it's also opened a lot of opportunities for wacky shit, that make it actually entertaining. finishing someone off with a tibia skeleton ball (consumable item that you throw, that summons a skeleton to immediately attack, think it's called "Call of Tibia" or something) is hilarious and satisfying. haven't tried the homing cannon yet. gonna upgrade it in a few minutes and give it a shot (pun intended).

Backhand blades have a double swing on both running r1 and r2, the swift slash aow is maybe what you're referring to? It is a dash attack that let's you move through enemies (sometimes?) and is then a trail of slices hit behind you as well.
