I think an outdoor mat like that would give a good amount of traction so that my little girl who is just learning stairs doesn't fall down them like I've done sooo many times. when you paint a material (fabric) next time mist the rug surface with a water mister then lay your paint on. Let dry, then do another coat.

wetting the rug opens up the web to excepts the paint. Lightly sand when dry. Then coat again.

We did it with spray paint and it came out great although if iake a second I might do 2 cans for serious bright whiteness

How long did it take you to paint the mat completely white? It seems like it would be a long process?

+The HomeSchool Hippie it took about 30 minutes to paint the full mat white and then 24 hours to dry. I was SHOCKED how much paint it soaked up!

Hot glue is a powerful little adhesive and no joke!

And I face west so hot glue won’t work. I’ll use a good outdoor adhesive.
