I forgot how bad & sad little Merlin was when he first came to VMF....he is a totally different monkey since the last time you guys showed him playing and eating with his troop!! Thank you to everyone at VMF for all you guys do to help these sweet innocent animals live their best lives possible!!

Poor Merlin is still frightened and sad.Poor little fella will get better because he has amazing people taking care of him.The reason I say it was other humans that did this to him is because of how petrified he is of humans right now.But I have faith in the the little fella he will get better and gain trust again.😢😢😊😊

Have any former adopted orphans yet become adoptive moms?

FilmerOfBobcats I'm pretty sure that they release them before they would have an opportunity for that to happen at least that was my understanding. For the verb it to become adults and therefore be the age to adopt and if it themselves they would have to at least be several years old and I don't think they keep them there that long I think they try to release him to the wild prior to that
