Oh my lord, how on Earth haven't I heard this bands music before.. I fell in love with the music since I really dig the oriental melodies. And the lyrics were really thought-provoking, I'm speechless.

Finally... got to say this is probably the best reaction I saw from you guys. I need to say that if you get the new album it is a bit different from this song, their main songwriter and guitar player, Yossi Sassi, left the band after the album "All is One" (this song is from that album), although their sound is not that different it changed a bit. It is a but heavier and the growls that were absent on the previous album is back, even if you can't do the reaction watch the video for the song "Like Orpheus" (with Hansi Kursch as guest) because it has a fantastic message.

Great band that I've been listening to since the early 2000s; if you can find a workable copy, anything from their Mabool album is the best I've heard from them. Going to toss out Gormathon again, of course. Land of the Lost or Skyrider.

It was awesome to see Antonio not averting his eyes from the video (sometimes he seems to fall so deep into the music that he forgets about the video completely). He has his heart in the right place, and I probably don't have to tell you that you have all reasons to be proud of him. Btw. if he likes that oriental style, you should check out tunesian band Myrath, that have a nice blend of their folklore music with Progressive and Power Metal. Check out their official videos, if you can, they have some nice visuals. I'll also take the opportunity to remind you of Persona, a female fronted metal band from Tunesia I recently mentioned. You'll find their videos and songs on their Channel "Persona Official" (they haven't gotten a label so far, which is really a shame, but at least their videos won't be blocked^^)).

I guess Kobi Farhi used this theme of the film as basement for this song. So you nailed it. I really hope you ll find more videos of them. I made some lyrical video of a song they did in Turkish and also uploaded a live video of them on my channel. Maybe you can also dig into some more Israeli bands ... such as Melechesh (originated from there)

Great song. I thought about all of this blood and human lifes that sunk in Middle Eastern lands since ancient Egypt (battle of Kadesh) to our days - Istrael - Palestine conflict and one in Syria with ISIS... About Christmas truce in 1914. The next day they have football game. ;)

A real bummer if they block you from reacting to other songs. I would love to see your reactions to All is One or Sapari, both epic songs with great videos accompanying them. "I don't understand why they would block the videos when they can give their bands free publicity?" A couple minutes go by... "Well, since we can't find anymore videos that aren't blocked I think we will buy the album and listen through it." lol Sorry, had to laugh at that a little. The new album is quite good though, if you listen through it you will be able to hear their heavier and more progressive stuff as well.
@APREACTS7 жыл бұрын
At the end of the day is their material their call, I think we are doing them a favor and giving bands free publicity but some don’t see it that way. It comes down to the label not the band. Just glad many don’t feel this way
@skeletankmcgraw73437 жыл бұрын
Its cool, I am in no way being some sort of crusader of the music industry, just found it mildly funny since it is the first time I have seen a reaction of yours to a band you have never heard before directly followed up by the statement of wanting to buy the album. Especially surprised it was your son as it always came off to me as if he is more into buying single tracks instead of full albums, which is pretty normal with the young generation of today. Maybe the new Orphaned Land album will open him up to listening to more albums all the way through.
@APREACTS7 жыл бұрын
The reason is he knows we won’t do any reactions from the new album therefore he can buy it listen without worrying about having to check a song he already knows. You right he buys singles never albums I think is something from his generation

I think you may have better luck with the older musics, Try sapari for those who want the more middle east part is a must hear, others like ocean Land, Brother are als opretty cool, one song also called Shama'im is also really good. They are a band preaching for peace among religions and creeds, in Allis One sogn he sings: Who Cares if you are a Muslim or a Jew. The new songs might be harder to not be blocked. Aeternam and Amaseffer also have that vibes on their songs and in a similar style also Myrath is pretty cool. There is also a Turkish band with really cool songs called Mezarkabul(or Pentagram in turkey) songs like sonsuz are Really good
@musthavemetalradio7 жыл бұрын
Great that you did Orphaned Land, but thats not even their best song. I saw them live here in Beijing a couple years ago and it was an awesome show. So, even if you cant do a reaction, I would highly suggest you check out their other videos. It doesnt make any sense to me either of them blocking you from posting the reactions. I would think it would be ideal free publicity, especially since it would likely introduce a lot of people to the band who had never heard of them otherwise. But, thats the industry I guess.
