Orphaned Lion Cubs Rescued From An Active Warzone | Wild Animal Rescue | Real Wild

When a nearby zoo became desperate for money, they started selling off their animals to people living nearby. This is how a family with six children ended up with two lion cubs living with them inside their small home. Four Paws rescue makes the dangerous journey into the Gaza Strip to rescue the lion cubs and bring them to a safe sanctuary, where they will have room to grow and play, before they end up hurting any of the family's children. Travelling through Gaza with lion cubs is not an easy feat.

The owners of the Lion cubs loved those cubs so much. And the Lions seemed to love the owners as well. I could understand how difficult it was for them to give them up. It was difficult for the team to get the Lions out of the country to go to a Sanctuary. I appreciate their hard work and dedication. 🙏

I love how selfless the two owners were and how much they loved the cubs. They cared about the cubs more than they cared for money. I also love the understanding the hotel manager had for everything.

how much they loved them?...just look at min 1,53 how the boy ( I guess the crying guy after a while….) in front of the cameras hit the lion with a very powerful blow of his head, and in fact the little lion suddenly runs away in shock

@@waimar5457 exactly, then a short while after that the toddler is trying to hit them with a balloon, but it could easily have been something heavier. They were taken from their mum at 4 weeks old...this is no life for wild animals to live in. If they kept them until they were 18 months old, those cute little cubs would start attacking the family members. No one ever thinks about what can really happen when you have wild animals living with you. They belong in the wild, or in this case a sanctuary. I'm so glad they were saved from a lifetime of giving someone status.

And thank you to the owner for not selling the cubs and giving them to the sanctuary where they can be properly cared for. $9K USD is a lot of money to pass up and it took a great deal of selflessness to forego that type of money.

How one even considers to have a wild animal such as a lion as a “ pet “ is beyond me. The way they were handled by full grown men and that child hitting them was just outrageous. Not even close to being just okay. Glad 4paws came to their rescue!

have you listened to the documentary at all? they weren't keeping them as pets, the zoo was unable to provide for them any longer and they jumped in to help. the child hitting them wasn't anyone's fault. toddlers do things grown people wouldn't. they probably didn't see what the kid was doing. you sound extremely unreasonable.

They’re not a toy , not there for aesthetic and games . Nor do those animals ever deserve to be there . They should be in their home country with their parents . It’s as bad as I seen in Ukraine! Ukrainian soldiers mocking a young tiger that’s kept in a iron bar cage on concrete or how Ukrainians keeping a poor miserable, sick looking dolphin in a swimming pool indoors of a hotel in Kiev. i think theres loving your animals then using your animals, i admire the love but parading around such animals with a massive history and an array of needs its selfish, private keeping should be abolished only conservation and rescuing should be allowed. As humans we need to respect and grow within a healthy balance with all animals! balance is essential to all life on this planet once you understand that you can see everything with a central and just eye.

At min 30,40 the man it’s wondering about the problem of the lion’s head...just look at min 1,53 how the boy( I guess the crying guy after a while….) in front of the cameras hit the lion with a very powerful blow of his head, and in fact the little lion suddenly runs away in shock….maybe nobody said something because of fear that owners could stop the transfer ; another thing…. During a transfer with that hot temperature have someone try to refresh the lions with simple water? They seems quite suffering the hot day….

Organising the removal of animals from country to country is not something that you can just drive in, take them and drive out. Especially when you're crossing several international borders all with different regulations than the next. As you could see there was a lot of paperwork involved as well, then you top all that off with going through a war zone. This was no easy task and their own lives were also at risk, plus you never argue with guards who are holding automatic weapons. Please have some respect for the difficult job well done.
