This is such a good story. It gave me the same sort of feeling of doom and justice that I got from reading Les Misėrables. Unforgettable sorrow and compassion.

Today I learnt that in the 18th century Robespierre overthrew the Bourbons with the help of the 20-century ideology of Bolshevism. Therefore, Robespierre was the world's first known time traveller

Good luck with that...... which pixel ya gonna start with? Allegedly there's ongoing lossy compression of videos for storage space purposes. This one's maximum available resolution is 480, but I've seen numerous cases of degraded quality likely a result of repeated compression. Across a huge number of vintage films are many that are just barely watchable and it's really hard to believe they were uploaded that way and further hard to believe they're just as pixelated on film.

Intertitles to understand the main plot and main dialogues, exaggerated facial expressions and gestures to understand the emotions and personalities of characters. Also movies were mostly shown with live music (piano or even orchestra) to depict the atmosphere.
