Tips to make us more successful with managing tibial plateau fractures

I had bicondylar tibial plateau fracture on December 18th 2016 with two plates and 10 screws inserted. But at that time of accident I had a ACL tear also which was found out only later after I felt some instability and buckling of my knee joint.so I had to wait for one and half year for the bone to heal completely. now I have removed the hardware implant and underwent a ACL reconstruction surgery..I hope for the speedy recovery. Be optimistic and hope for the best to happen in future.

During tibial plateau fracture if ACL is ruptured, this cannot be addressed while doing ORIF. My surgeon didn't. Now he is saying that with the hardware ACL cannot be repaired. Have to wait till the bone is healed and harware taken out for the ACL to be reconstructed
