Last year with no place left to turn I prayed to God in repentance then begged for help with all my heart, "I was until then a lifelong Atheist." I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed because I've never read the bible", and the love I felt from Jesus was unlike anything I've ever felt before - A lifetime of joy every second - It brought me to sobbing and it changed my life forever. I've had other miracles since, a few being a light turning on in answer to deeply needful prayer 6 times, seeing a orb of light hours before a major surgery, seeing an Angel in a dream the night my mother prayed for me to see one, "Without telling me", and so much more. Know that God and Jesus ARE real and that they love us deeply. Let go of your hatred and Imagine yourself holding the people who've hurt you. Tell them you love and forgive them and do your best to follow, "I've failed many times", the 10 commandments.

Let us not deceive ourselves. The path to heaven is narrow for the righteous my friends, for the righteous, it is narrow. The unrighteous shall not see, nor inherit the kingdom of heaven. The blood of Jesus doesn’t give us permission to sin, His blood is not to cover our sin and allow us to remain in it, but to purify, purge and free us from our sin. Therefore let us repent and turn to Jesus Christ, for he is the only way to heaven, the only way and the only advocate we have with the father. The catholic faith leads to hell, follow Jesus, no man, no religion, but be a Christian, which means a follower of Christ. Fast and pray, don’t take my word for it, instead fast and pray, and God WILL confirm. Amen. It took me years to have enough courage to return to God through confession. I kept telling myself that I didn’t need to go because God knew I was sorry. Truth be told, I was to ashamed of my sins and terrified I would be told that I couldn’t be forgiven. Waiting on line, the thoughts of fear and doubt kept coming but I prayed for God to give me courage. As I spoke to my priest, my tears streamed down as I confessed my sins. He gently reminded me that when a person is truly sorry, they are forgiven and that heaven rejoices when a sinner returns. I do remember saying several times that, “I just wanted to come home.” Thinking about the unnecessary years of separation from God because I was too afraid and ashamed to seek His mercy, this message rang very true for me.

one difference is concept of original sin. Catholics believe we have an inherent sinful nature which is why we are in a fallen state. Orthodox believe it is a broken relationship with God and nothing intrinsic to our nature. Both represent our situation regardless. Another is Catholics believe Mary was immaculately conceived, necessary due to original sin. "Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, and save us from the fires of Hell. And lead all souls to salvation, especially those in most need of your Mercy. Amen." Dear Father Spyridon I am an atheist, and I have been watching your videos for some good time now. I was raised in a Christian household, but then fell away at age 11. I tried to bring myself back to faith, but to no avail. You clearly have knowledge that I don't, and I wish to know from the best on how to return back. Sincerely, Laudonniere.

Yes Jesus is speeding up time in order to cut the time short as in when he will come and save us. For unless he cuts the time short or speeds up time to its conclusion concerning our salvation we will be destroyed. For Jesus said unless I do so, no one will be left alive.

There are many of these that I know of - one you can use from older (read: longer) pre-Communion prayers (God give me the strength to do these through and with focused mind!), one that is supposed to be used halfway between your scheduled Confessions during fasting periods or however often your Spritual Father recommends them outside emergencies, one for your Holy Angel, one from concluding prayers from the Russian style of personal Compline, and this, to the Holy Spirit: "O Lord, Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, show compassion and have mercy on me Thy sinful servant, and loose me from mine unworthiness, and forgive all wherein I have sinned against Thee today as a man, and not only as a man, but even worse than a beast, my sins voluntary and involuntary, known and unknown, whether from youth, and from evil suggestion, or whether from brazenness and despondency. If I have sworn by Thy name, or blasphemed it in my thought; or grieved anyone, or have become angry about anything; or have lied, or slept needlessly, or if a beggar hath come to me and I disdained him; or if I have grieved my brother, or have quarreled, or have condemned anyone; or if I have been boastful, or prideful, or angry; if, as I stood at prayer, my mind hath been distracted by the wiles of this world, or by thoughts of depravity; if I have over-eaten, or have drunk excessively, or laughed frivolously; if I have thought evil, or seen the beauty of another and been wounded thereby in my heart; if I have said improper things, or derided my brother’s sin when mine own sins are countless; if I have been neglectful of prayer, or have done some other wrong that I do not remember, for all of this and more than this have I done: have mercy, O Master my Creator, on me Thy downcast and unworthy servant, and loose me, and remit, and forgive me, for Thou art good and the Lover of mankind, so that, lustful, sinful, and wretched as I am, I may lie down and sleep and rest in peace. And I shall worship, and hymn, and glorify Thy most honourable name, together with the Father and His Only-begotten Son, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen."

I'm a bit worried as recently I've been constantly sinning in my dreams. I repent for them, but it is rather unsettling. Seems like more I try give up my sins and vices in the "real" world, the more vivid, strange and sinful my dreams get. Including things I have never and would not do in real life. I also never seem to remember God in my dreams, like I'm a different person. One of the dreams included a graffiti on a wall that mentioned Jesus though. It said "If Jesus comes, come".
@user-oy9fu9db8c2 жыл бұрын
Isn't remembering dreams bad tho? Saint Macarius, the Great has a prayer that mentions protection from dreams and obscure thoughts. I think it's really bad to think about them, they're fueled by the passions just like evil thoughts, If we manage to control our passions the dreams will also reduce
@banhammer39042 жыл бұрын
It's always best to forget dreams as soon as you wake. I consider it like being forced to watch a disgusting movie when you are a child. Obviously, committing a sin in your dreams is not a real sin but the devil's delusion.

Get hold of a NKJ bible, and read the word of God yourself. Ask for the Holy Spirit to reveal, lead and guide you in what you are reading and to know how to apply it in your life. Repentance, confession (to God-not man), forgiveness, and obedience to Gods word, is the way to everlasting eternal life. God bless.

@@-xyz-012 James 5:16…
@-xyz-0122 жыл бұрын
@@rudymatheson1415 you need to keep it in context. James 5 verse that you point out is talking about healing of the sick. Please go back and read the whole chapter and not just pick out one verse, it must be in context with everything else before and after a particular verse. Otherwise your taking it out of context and incorrectly misinterpreted. Im talking about onfessing your sins to Jesus in respect of “initially giving your heart & life over to Jesus confessing you are a sinner and repent with deep remorse over your sin fullness and accepting His finished work on the cross where His blood atoned for all the sins of mankind. Making Him Lord and Saviour of one’s life. These are two different things. Bible also says there is only 1 who intercedes for mans sins to God and that is Jesus, He is the ONLY intercessor between man & God. Priest are no longer required as they were only relevant in the Old Testament (and they were only allowed out of the tribe of Levi, no one else could go and become a priest). Once Jesus came and was crucified, His blood paid for all sins of all mankind forever more. Hence there was no longer a requirement for priests to daily and annually sacrifice a lamb for the remission of sins. That all stopped when Jesus came up n the scene. Jesus is the only one we are to confess our sinfulness to, not another sinful man. who needs saving himself.
@rudymatheson14152 жыл бұрын
@@-xyz-012 That is your interpretation of the verse immediately preceding it. It says “the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well”, one has to look beyond the immediate exegesis of the verse. It means prayer will heal people physically , the next verse means that prayer will absolve people of their sins.
@-xyz-0122 жыл бұрын
@@rudymatheson1415 not at all, your not understanding it, you need to understand the initial confession to surrender of the wicked flesh to Christ and receiving of the Holy Sprit is different to what your interpreting. One can pray all they like, unless they have confessed their wickedness/sinfulness and relented (despise their sins & turned away from it) they do not receive the Holy Spirit. Eg. Just because someone was baptised as an infant (which is not biblical) and prays while having no remorse for their sins, or thinks they are a good person and they do no wrong, therefore lives in wilful sin/ rebellion to God, that doesn’t make them a child of God. Nor will they be entering into heaven. The bible is very clear on that. They are still a slave to the devil. There must be a initial confession to Christ first. It’s Jesus that forgives, not man.

Not yet, Padre. God bless!! - "Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God." Lord spoke to me a lie was told this has brought judgement on hold earth. December Lord spoke we only have one season left. In time Lord spoke In A Moment in a twinkling I will come when you least expect it. Lord spoke all that left now is to pray for your family others to repent those headed to lake of fire to be saved. Right now you can feel his presence yet a stillness. From time a lie was told these are other words. He is like Moses. Has a heart after God. He is teachable. Now next word after the lie that has changed the world. Jesus is at the door. The word Moses. The window of Grace has closed. There are season's of time we are in a season of time. We can't go back we can't go forward only a move of God. Next word He spoke Ecclaisa the remnant the living stones only ones left now. Oh God spoke they are running a head of my time line. Now we are at the first part where I shared what he has spoken. You can't set in a person seat God appointed to another person, and lie others support you it brings judgement because house is out of order it even affects the earth. So every issue we see happing is they have taken a house that didn't belong to them with a lie. God said I honor those who honor me. This is all Lord has showed me. Yesterday there was a word about Noah. Lot had to come out of the city to pray it was so bad. As in the days of Noah. People want come out of the system to be saved they love the world to much so they don't come out of the world. Lord also spoke of covenant example Abraham ask Lord if there 50 will you spare on down to 10 or 1 will you spare Lord said yes. Lord spoke we have a covenant with the Lord where ever we are placed in this earth that area belongs to the Lord holding it for him through a covenant with the Lord. This is a very in-depth knowledge to understand. Last word Lord promises Lord will take care of us through all of this. That all I can share.
