In the world there are Psychologists, but in the Orthodox Church, our Spiritual Fathers and Confessors are ‘Noeticists’ par excellence. Met. Demetrios is one such Noeticist. All Glory to Jesus Christ!

The truth is in plain sight, right in front of our eyes the whole time. But our reasoning is darkened so we don't see it for what it is. With God, we can see.

Thank you for your clear messages. May God bless and keep you always in his favor. I am a sinner, my pride blinds me, I lack the humility it takes to honestly forgive, and yet, I ask for forgiveness. I will pray for eyes to see and ears to hear so that I repent and love as an authetic servant of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for helping me to see and hear the truth.

Beautifully said; All the gold & riches in the earth belongs to the Lord. I believe the Lord was not asking the rich man for his wealth to sale. This was in the heart of his greatest earthly possession. The Lord's greatest possession was his children to follow him and be their greatest possession. Entering in to the city without $ or a lily in the field feeding off the light of the day...all are the cares of the Lord for those who care for the things the Lord loves and are good. Pride is a vicious enemy and can raise up an evil army and destroy many with one blow and they not know it. May all my pride be surfaced that it may all be burned up useless. 🕊..💞..🕯

When i am trying to approach god, i always feel boring and I have a very tentative feeling of loving god, then i quit it and return back to my normal un piety life. I hope to have a humble and a contrite heart, but the problems sometimes i feel iam better than others even i am totally convinced i am sinner, i have a lot of contradictions inside me, most time iam afraid of god chastise by diseases and diffrent tribulations, i am really in a mess, could you advise me

There is a battle inside all of us between the new man and the old man. There is a war inside of us between our conscience and the evil one. Absolutely do your best and never give up. Listlessness is not of God. It doesn't matter how many times you fall, always get up. Persist more than the devil.

Hello, I have some questions as I explore the path of Orthodoxy (and True Orthodoxy). First, I am wondering "where is the line" before something becomes heresy worthy of division. For example, if one personally has a strong view of pandemic restrictions based on their understanding of science that they have personally validated first-hand, and yet a True Orthodox patriarch incorrectly promotes the opposite view.. is this not a practical example of something even more significant than (SOME) things "True Orthodox" have separated over in the past? If so, is this also an issue that should lead to separation (based on the "True Orthodox" view of separation)? Second, I am wondering if it is the "True Orthodox" view that there is only one grace-filled Church (and therefore would be a serious error to attend any other) among the various options of "True Orthodoxy." Because, as far as I understand thus far, it seems some "True Orthodox" seem to take that position (although I may have misunderstood it). This would imply that one should be very careful about where they live/move, since there are only a few cities in the entire U.S. that would have a church from the (most) "True Orthodox" branch. Finally, I wonder if (unlike World Orthodoxy) the head of each of the various branches/divided "True Orthodox" (RTOC, ROCA, GOC, etc etc) are basically now like a pope in function... since they don't have equals (if I understand how they work correctly) unlike the design of "World Orthodox" where the EP has equals among the hierarchs of the various synods (Greek, Russian, etc). I know the EP seems to be pushing to be more than just "first among equals" (from what I've read).. but still the historical design seems to be that they are indeed equals. Thanks again for your help, and for any insight you can provide to these above questions as I seek to understand these important topics.

Thank you very much for your sincere inquiries. There is only one "True Orthodox Church" that is the "official Church." It is by far the largest. The other groups may have a few thousand at the most, whereas the GOC has a few million in Communion with Her. This is because She has equals. Four local Churches belong to them; the GOC of Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, and ROCOR. They are all independent Churches. With regards to your other questions, please contact His Eminence, Metropolitan Demetrius at gocofamerica@gmail.com

@@OrthodoxTradition Thank you for your response! Ok, I will email him regarding those questions. Just to clarify on the ROCOR you mentioned, is this the ROCOR under Hilarion Kapral or a different ROCOR?

Keep in mind there is no such thing as "the Orthodox Church", either "true" or "world" or whatever peoples minds conceive. There is the Catholic Church which practices the Orthodox Faith. Not one time in any of the first seven ecumenical councils will you hear of this "Orthodox Church".

Well seems God gives some mixed messages claiming he makes people the way they are but then they ought be ashamed if they are strong or intelligent etc? Also I was taught God helps those that help themselves but it seems if some work hard and are successful that displeases God if God doesn't get all the glory himself so God wants all the Glory but no blame it's always Satans fault? I really don't know why Job was tortured either what sin was Job guilty of or Jesus either? Confusing. What one thinks just self respect another may think is arrogance.
