His "job" is not just to tell us prophecies about the day of Judgment but to enact it Himself Also there are external condition for a judgment to be fair : the laws must have been announced previously to the people. So at some point people have to know the rules. That's why Jesus told us that the judgment will not come until the Gospel reaches every place in the world. That's the reason of his first coming, teachings, sacrifice and resurrection : Spread the news of the judgment and the rules of that judgment to all mankind. Do you know those rules? What are you going to tell Him on judgment day when He will ask you why you didn't follow His teachings? "Sorry, I followed the teachings of Muhammad and I didn't open a Bible." But Muhammad will be judged himself and he admitted he wasn't sure what will be the sentence. Jesus told us to follow him and no one else : The Jews who were there gathered around him, saying, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” (John chapter 10 verses 24 to 30)
