Orthographic 7: Explaining the 1st and 3rd angle systems

Thank you sooo much for making this for us. I’ve watch a few other videos on 1st and 3rd angle projections and just couldn’t get my head around it, but now I know. In Australia I’ve only ever seen technical drawings in 3rd angle.

Thank you for this very clear explanation of the two different projections. I’m an American, and my year of drafting class was in high school many, many years ago. I’ve solved many problems with third quadrant sketches. I’ve read a number of descriptions but could never really understand why the views were in different places and some lines were hidden in one and not in the other. I now comprehend.
