Ah thanks for sticking by me all these years :) Yeah the land Yaxht is about to get a whole lot bigger with a new “dinghy” (tow car) The bike is great… the car can get my kayaks to places like the Okefenokee swamp!

I'm so impressed that you two are still spending time together. The last time I watched you both, you had just completed your first long sailing passage together after leaving Cape Town, and that trip was not that long after losing Patrick. After that passage and everything that went on between you two, I thought that Michael would be on the next plane home. And I wasn't the only one! lol I don't know what transpired in between then and this video, but I can only imagine that through your grief and hurt, and getting to know Michael, and he you, you must have both discovered a way to dance beautifully together, despite your differences and the turmoil that seemed to surround you during those early days in your relationship. I commend you both for being able to make that happen, because we all know it isn't easy. May you paddle on together, and enjoy the journey.☺

What a lovely way to spend the day, beautiful scenery and beautiful people. For years, I spent about every weekend, winter and summer in the kayaks, somewhere on a river.

Brilliant video. Being in a swamps you really aught to read the book " Where the Crawdad sings" gripping, one you will identify with being where you are. Happy Paddling!

Thanks Bob… read the book and watched the movie quite a few times. I didn’t even have to go to the swamp to identify with that girl. I’m that girl but on a boat :)

Good to see you on youtube again. I have a scratched up plastic kayak and its a great way to spend some quiet time on the water. It is almost indestructible. This winter in the cold and wet Northwest I have been building a plywood and fiberglass sailing dinghy. It can slide into the back of my pickup and just big enough for two adults to row or sail. My first boat build and a learning tool. Not pretty yet but I hope it will be when I'm done.

That’s very cool :) What I like about my Oru kayak the most is how light it is. Even when I’m feeling tired it’s no big deal to put it in the water for a paddle or take it back out and put it away. People who visit me in the rv are always amazed when I say… and I have those 2 kayaks up there … they say where???? Haha… they take up but 1/4 if that if my cab above the truck part of my RV. Very cool :)

I really enjoyed that. Those foldable kayats are great. Its good to see to setting out on dry land, The US has such a wide range of locations to enjoy. Michael has real adventuring presence, I'm so pleased to see him staring again. I'm retiring next year here in the I am and a RV/camper van tour of the US is a consideration so I will be keen to learn how you get on. Happy New Year. Thank you for posting.

Hi Andy… thanks for watching and for your comment. Yeah I really feel like I’m getting well equipped and ready for every adventure that crosses my path… kayaking… my e-bike… towing the car behind possibly… a nice comfortable warm dry RV… feel like I’ve got it all. Not I just have to drive without hitting anything haha. It’s becoming quite the adventure mobile :)

Happy New Year! Lovely to see you guys again. I'm so impressed with those kayaks. Being a bush baby myself I especially liked the dark one because it blended in so well with the scenery. Not so keen on the alligators (altho that poor dead one..😢) but loved the turtles🐢
@RVLifeNOW Жыл бұрын
Yeah the alligators made me a bit nervous too but they seemed more nervous of us… not aggressive at all. That would not have been fun at all on a kayak :)

They are all on this channel… he has only gotten a few done… it’s a lot of work to do these videos. I’m sure he will do another someday.

I do not know about the concept of a folding kayak in water that has alligators. Stay safe. You seemed to have adjusted to your new life. Good luck with everything.

Thanks so much. It scared me. But less scared kayaking with alligators than sailing a thousand miles from land :)

Being 10 ft from a gator in a nylon bag and sailing in a perfectly built sail boat are two completely different scenarios. It’s more like when the Gator has dinner not if. Florida Gal

Hmmm. Micheal is back? Did I miss something? I hope you two are happy. I've been following you since before your husband and my mom died of the same thing on the same day half way around the same planet from each other. His death hit me almost as hard. Totally different and disconnected but so much the same. The weird past........
