@@nammaoorucouple I understand your preference for LIC. I think separating Term insurance and investment is better. You can avail pure term insurance from LIC but for investment, I would recommend to go for monthly SIP in MFs, even 1000 per month would do, same way 500 in gold per month etc., Once you gain knowledge, you can directly buy shares for long term, on high quality large cap stocks. Normally LIC returns will be around 6 percent only so it is not a good investment but a reliable insurance company for insurance!! Just my thought.

Lic will invest in stock market but they also take agent commission and fees when maturity we will receive very less returns or negative returns i got negative returns. So better invest in mutual fund if no knowledge regarding stock market or invest directly in stock market. Inimel veru verum salary vachu valara mudiyathu. Cost of living is increased much more compared to our salary so everyone should have financial knowledge.
