Great presentation. So, the 5 is really a 6 weight? I know line choice and rod load is very subjective, but it does sound stiff.

The blue one is a 3D ("D"is for Distance), It's a rod a little harder that permits to make very long casts.. The green one, is a 3F ("F" stay for Finesse).. It's a rod that permits very long casts but with an incredible precision.. Now...the 3D casts a little longer, so is perfect for very big rivers, lakes, fjords or estuaries; the 3 F permits you to cast at a very long distance with a precision of 2/3 inches, and i'm not joking.. It's perect for medium rivers, also smaller ones, but, for experience, with the green one, in a BIG river you can easily cast till half of the stream and more...Yes, a little less than the blue one, but, for me, the green one is the best. It's simple to cast also for a beginner and her precision, with her delicate pose make you capable of perfect castings...But, everyone has his preferences, so, at the end, for me, are two of the best fly rods (made by industry) that exists. They also are guaranteed for 25 years, so, the builders are sure of the quality!

How did you get the blue graphics on Rod? I just bought the H3D 7wt it is white.

The rod is so stiff you put a 6 weight line that is already half weight heavy (SA Amplitude Infinity)? I also hate that way too big/long decal on the H3

@@intoflyfishing My comment wasn't 'aimed' at you but in general. Fly rod manufacturers are making rods that are too stiff and we need lines that weigh more to able to cast them. So that '5 weight rod' is actually a 7 weight rod and that 'super duper 5 weight fly line' is actually a 7 weight line... 🙄

So many people say that! I kind of agree, but I really don't care how good a rod looks as long as it performs and this rod is a beast.
