Namba is a really popular place in Osaka, and many people visit Dotonbori food street, but there is Ura-Namba food street as well !
Compare to Dotonbori food street, there are many small restaurants and bars, Yes this is the places usually locals go!
In this video I introduce my favorite Bakery, Small Bar Streets, Izakayas, and many other Restaurants that locals usually go!
Many good and cheap restaurants are there!
If you love explore the new country, yes! Uranamba is a one of the deep local spots, which is much safer than other Osaka deep spots!

Your videos are helping me prepare for my trip to Japan. Other vlogs and videos from other youtubers, I see a lot of Dotonbori videos, a lot of Kuromon Market, a whole lot of touristy stuff. Which is alright, but your videos show me precious nuggets of information and locations that I would not have known. I am a fan of culture and lifestyle more than i am a fan of tourist spots. Sure, I'll check out the usuals, Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky, HEP 5, etc., but I am more interested in how the locals live and what their culture is and I am happy you share videos. Speaking of the Hotel Richmond hotel, nice hotel😉, a bit walk from Namba station but it's walking distance😉 it's close to the Namba Yasaka shrine "Walking from Namba station to "Namba Yasaka Shrine" in Osaka !! #005 : kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqu8qqmjapV5jKc" 2. Speaking of Train and subway, there are English title as well, and Osaka subway is not complicated as much as Tokyo subway, so I believe you should be fine😉
