The word "wholesome" is often thrown around and misused talking about Vtubers...but it really applies to Korone. She doesn't use fan service or shocking language or cheesy self promotion to draw viewers. She is just happy and positive and caring and funny being her true self.....with dog ears. And without the work of these wonderful translators many of us would never have known about her.

That's why I find her streams easier to watch than some of the other vtubers. when she says "thank you" to translators mid clip..... well I'm not blaming you guys for not believing me, but my eyes become a bit teary.... it feels like she really said it from the bottom of her heart, it pierce right through my kokoro at that exact moment when I saw it..... like, I don't really expect those wholesome thing she said. It's indeed takes "a bit" effort to translate & clipping..... let's say, for only 5 minutes clip, it could take hours to edit & do other stuff. well, I think it's faster when translators have a group or something, but it's quite takes a time for a solo like me. Honestly, I'm still doing subs & clip here at 2:40 AM, because I have things to do in the morning & afternoon, but after those thing this doggo said, it's really pumped me up immediately :') anyway, I'm glad I started contribute to this community from this doggo's clips months ago, didn't expect she's gonna tell something like this, not gonna lie:( it's hella rare to see her emotional like this, so obviously it's affect many of her viewers and fans. No better blessing than being haunted by Korone in 200 years. She really is a good person though. She doesn’t take things for granted and remembers to be thankful, even asks for advice about it. Being automatically thankful about things is such an alien concept to me. So I’ll follow the good example and thank the translators too, since it’s thanks to the few translated clips I originally watched that I ended up subscribed to Korone and others. It’s so weird but so good at the same time that we can tune in to a stream we can’t understand at all, stick around watching them do interesting things, and then have someone translate the things they said afterwards. It’s such a fun and wholesome community.

Just seeing Korone, going so far as to ask management in order to find a proper way to thank the people making subs, despite she just saying that they all do it for the sole purpose of wanting to share what they love to people that cannot fully appreciate them due to the language barrier... It speaks a lot of how truly thankful she is, and how much she appreciates what the subs do for her, be it directly or indirectly. I definitely would love to watch streams more often, but this crappy laptop goes into such a heat from watching lives (even at lower qualities), and even sometimes the archives if I were to pop the chat out. Clips like the one here are what helps me the most at understanding what actually happened in a given live, and just like Korone, cannot be more thankful to people who take it upon themselves to sub and upload them. Really guys, you deserve at least as many thanks as the girls for all your hard work, and I'm glad Korone and the rest think just the same.

That was quick! Thanks for translating this. She's so pure and loveable and so kind to her fans. We have such a wonderful community centered around her. Thank you so much to the translators, my fellow fan artists, and everyone else - even if you don't 'do' anything, just your coming to her streams or watching the archives is amazing

i join Korone and thank you for all of your work Osakaki! 😁 Korone trying to express her gratefulness via the trash can example was so hilarious and sweet at the same time haha! 😂 She really seems like such a sweetheart. She's the only vtuber I actively follow and it's because of stuff like this. She just seems so naturally sweet it's hard not to be drawn to her and want to support her.

Precious doggo And thank you translators for the work you do. I would have never encountered korone, or any of the hololive vtubers, without the work you guys put in. I am truly grateful

As of recent i have enjoyed the translated clips of the vtubers and honestly i think that sure these people are idols in a sense but the true heroes of this era at the moment for the time being of bringing unity to a small but a good and awesome community is actually the translators who are like the strong glue keeping the opposite sides of the earth intact that makes the world almost whole again and honestly i enjoy it sometimes concepts like that make me cry considering how far we have came from eras upon eras of hatred that we were finally able to join together to be part of this wonderful community and just being to be able to experience this and thanks to the translators for making this possible. It’s hard to believe two kinds of nations from different sides of the planet can bond over something so wholesome yet so awesome and this just being one interests out of many. Honestly though thank you osakaki for translating.

Yes, thank you so much for your work. I wouldn't be able to enjoy this AMAZING doggo otherwise
I really loved that part of the stream. I can't understand japanese, with the exception of some words here and there, but when she started to express her gratitude, the BGM playing and the "こちらこそ" wave in chat, my heart just melted. She seems to be really happy about all of this.

I'm really grateful for all the translated clips for many vtubers. Whether or not there is a translator in stream, I'll watch and try to figure out through context clues. Sometimes I think, "Ah it'd be nice to see this clipped and translated or if I understood, but I'll still enjoy myself." If I had to choose one thing vtubers have brought me, it's peace of mind. Peace of mind is truly precious. Despite the language barrier, you can really tell how much fun they are having and that needs no translating. Though the translated clips make those moments even better. Appreciate your hard work man. Take care.

i just recently learned about vtubers through translated clips like this. the past week has been such an uplifting experience in the midst of all this. my mental health hasn’t been the best, and i’ve been staying cooped up at home so much ive felt incredibly lonely. but watching these vtubers has quickly comforted me and made me feel less alone. it has also reignited my motivation to keep studying japanese. even though i’m still new to this community, this video made me cry a lot, especially toward the end. korone is such a kind and genuine soul. she’s loving and inclusive and makes me feel like things will be okay. and i wouldn’t have ever gotten this experience without the patient and generous work of translators. thank you all so much, i hope to keep studying japanese so that one day i can help connect people through translation as well! みんな、頑張って💕あなたは一人じゃない!覚えてね!

I'm really glad that there are so many translators who are going out of their way to break the language barrier between the v-tubers and their foreign audience. You guys didn't have to through the trouble to do that, but you did it anyway, and I'm thankful for that.

I was in this stream (the Rat Simulator playthrough) and didn't understand what she was saying. Thank you translators for providing the subtitles from Korone's conversations, it really means a lot. She is sweet and considerate and remembering to be thankful for the good things people do and even objects (including trash can), and I got emotional when she said that she don't want to forget us and not to forget her when she is no longer around. This was my first Korone stream I attended and I will continue to support her with the rest of you. 👍

I would have not met Vtubers if it weren't for the translators. Really the translators are the real heroes, sacrificing time and effort for editing clips from their streams, getting the right time stamps of that exact moment and etc. I cannot show my appreciation for them enough, so as a viewer of such clips I help them give motivation and encouragement by giving a like and subscribe and also watching ads if there is one. Clips from their streams is what gives me happiness during this time of crisis and it would be impossible for me to understand without the help of translators. Thank you all translators!! (could not mention them they're so many lol) and may you have a blessed and wonderful life (≧▽≦) X-Potatooo is lifeee.
