I think the fighters and their teams got smarter ... sadly the 19- 70's, 80's, 90's, etc., fighters fought other elite fighters and was NOT get n the lions share. Now the elite fighters strategically fight novice fighters and receive the lions share ... the tables have turned... itz thousands of fighters who are poor and have health issues from constant elite wars trying to please promoters who move on to the next fighter the second they learn a fighter they promote has life change n health issues... ask Al Haymon, Don King, Bob Arum, etc., case & point Shane Mosley's speech today is turtle slow, from constantly fight n the best, but the point is he's nowhere near as wealthy as his promoters are...

I felt Oscar was the better boxer with a better technique, I had him winning this fight, tho Shane may have out hustle him with dramatics,theatrics,acting….. if he actually punched as hard as he pretends to Oscar would’ve seriously been in trouble, i remember Shane felt dissed cause Max Kellerman said he is a pretty good fighter had him in his top 5 or something but said he doesn’t hit as hard as he thinks he does, Shane felt insulted but I totally agree just a lot of theatrics mostly to influence crowds and judging…

@c.ostriker55722 жыл бұрын
The best welterweight title fight since Duran vs Leonard 1! That being said Shane clearly out hustled Oscar by landing his combinations with more efficiency and frequency especially down the home stretch going into the championship rounds. Oscar was an outstanding fighter from the waist up with a very formidable offense. From the waist down he was not fast footed enough or light on his feet enough to deal with a fighter like Mosley who could match him in speed, Moseley actually being a bit faster and definitely more mobile with lateral movements and feints. Shane was landing lead rights without even having to jab on many occasions because he was fast enough to get away with it. There was definitely no " play acting and dramatics" when Shane threw and landed effectively with those strikes and combinations. Both men had their moments but Moseley had more especially in the championship rounds. Excellent fight and my hats off to both these bona-fide warriors 👏
