This made me a Shane Mosley fan, my uncle and I stayed up late and ordered this ppv that night. I felt like Shane was fighting beyound all means. He earned a fan for life, not because we share the same name but it gave me a sense of pride to know this man gave it his all as well as Margarito. It was one of those fights that you look on with great memeory. My uncle was going for AM this whole fight and once the 5th round started he suddenly changed his tune. Lmao funny thing is almost everyone cotto has faced said he was probably the hardest consistent hitter. Mosely has said this himself. So has zab Judah, Malignaggi, Mayweather. He was a natural lefty who threw his strong hand as a jab. If u watched Cotto V Mosely you can see who hits harder. 🤷🏾‍♂️

But they want to lake him a cheat. There was a rehydration clause for the Mayweather Pac-Man fight and right before Floyd leaves his room you see Ellerbe give him a rehydration pill. Not only that, he hired his own medical team and injected an illegal amount of vitamins in his arm and that’s been a tactic back in the day to cover steroids.

It was almost like Shane was possessed by the spirit of Archie Moore. Literally he even LOOKED like, and FOUGHT like him that night. What a performance. Totally cemented Shane's place in boxing history that night. Especially given that Nazeem revealed to the boxing world what a cheating piece of filth Margarito is. Shane delivered God's justice to Antonio that night. Thank you for such a memorable fight Mr. Mosley. And thank you for busting that CHEATER'S ARSE with zero mercy - just like he deserved!!
