I'm not saying that Kevin Hart deserves to be exonerated. Rather the Oscar host scandal seems like poorly choreographed tabloid theater based on voluntarily written web contributions. Is this web drama scripted? I hope so. If not, nobody should be expected to be punished for a rough draft. There is no book of standards to judge how we should interact online regarding social justice yet. Seems inevitable. They're a celebrity breakup story. But they're both doing interesting things. It's like a morality play about dealing with two people you like that have broken up. Do we have to pick sides? Can they really stay friends? Isn't it sort of true that the way the group of friends aligns after the break up can affect our support system and well being? (Even tougher when there are pets involved.) I think comments about the Pete Ariana breakup are like a survey of our social values.
