Very Thanks

Oscar Peterson’s music saved my life! Pulled me out of the deepest depressions. Once I had the chance to shake his hand and thank him for that, then saw tears in his eyes… Stay strong, my friend, and cry, laugh, and enjoy his music 🙏🏽

I don't know how many time I've watched this and Oscar's solo kills me every time. I think Oscar even surprises himself. NHOP is so great too, too, the way he locks in with Oscar at 5:30.

Peterson’s rendition is always so buoyant of life, confidence in the victory of light and surfing on the hardware side of life, barely touching it) Lots of wisdom.

There are masters and maestros and then there’s Oscar Peterson who can almost levitate one with his virtuosity and grandiosity. Rest in Peace great one.

Oscar is God's favorite pianist, He loves him so much, so He makes him play all day, every day and Oscar has little time to rest!
What makes Oscar Peterson so great is that every time I listen to him I can't stop smiling! He is the indescribable ability to play perhaps one or two notes which just make you feel giddy and immensely happy. And this piece is no exception... Although listen to his version of Easy Listening Blues with The Trio to truly understand why he's practically all I listen to!

I used to drive all over the country to dig OP concerts. London House in Chicago, Mr. Kelleys, Freddies in Mpls, etc..... What a man, music just flowed out of him. Ray Brown was great on bass and Ed Thigpen on drums. Oscar you will always be number one right next to Gene Harris another fav of mine. Love you all. Rango8
