Love you and these reviews. Are you not doing Tár then? Probably the most I'm keen on seeing that I haven't yet. For me 'Everything...' and 'Banshees' were my two favourite films of the year, although if it counts for this year 'We're all going to the World's Fair' and 'Skinamarink' envisage a new exciting kind of cinema, the former of which I think is a stone-cold classic. But yeah, what happened to Tár? Loves xxx :)

No, Josh you're not speaking out of turn. As an Irish native, I had trouble with the Irish language; I hated every minute of it in school. Your review of the film is superb; an existential crises underpinned by the delusion of leaving a legacy which causes one man to be unkind to his friend and of course most of all to himself..

Great video! I’m trying to remember, did you once have a long video posted analyzing Being John Malkovich?

I miss the mention that it could be an analogy for the Irish civil war

After you said that this was very much "your" type of film, I thought you were going to put "Me!" in the "Who would like this?" section.

Perhaps you extrapolate from the director putting his dual mindsets into the rest of the cast of Banshees.
