Happy 61st Birthday 🎂 to the 63’ babies! My turn is in about 9 days! 🥳 Yeah. Great music! I was too young when this iconic song was “trending,” but it was still a staple on radio through the 70s, thought still a kid, but I was old enough to know what a great song, and increase the volume on the radio! We were too young when Monterey Pop fest took place, but through the 70s, I had to watch every yearly broadcast of MP fest to catch Mammas and Pappas perform “Got a feeling live!” Love it!

Suddenly this amazing song came on the speakers.you could have heard a pin drop, nobody did a thing from start to finish, everybody sat with their mouths hanging open..Each time I hear it I'm reminded of that lovely sunny morning, the great mates I had and the carefree days of the sixties. Thank you ....The Momas & Papas ... Your music lives on.

Even after listening to this for probably 500 times, those haunting harmonies never cease to impress me. Michelle may not have been gifted with a stellar voice, but she was an important part of those harmonies. The overtones!!!

Bill and Ralph, it seems like I have had a reply to the comment I made. The thing is, is that I don,t know how to access it. I am not good at this. If the reply was from either of you, I would be really happy to talk with you. My email address is........ brian.minter1(at) bigpond.com For some reason I do not have the AT symbol on my tablet, but I am sure you know what I am talking about. Would like to hear from you. I don,t at this stage know which country you are both from, but I am guessing the US. If you like, especially Mama Cass, then you are a friend of mine. I am a Scot, but now am an Australian citizen living in a truly wonderful country. lucky me..........

I love this song and "California Dreaming." Cass Elliot has always been my favorite of the entire group! I liked her attitude and personality! She still sang even though people razzed her about her weight! I think she looked great! I loved her outfits as well! Everybody doesn't have to be a size "0" to be pretty and cute! Cass was both! The other members were good too, but Cass has always and will continue to be my favorite! Her smile was contagious!! She has a lovely daughter as well! The group produced amazing songs and their vocals together were awesome!!
