Seems perfectly understandable to me. It's a big operation with a lot of smaller activities leading up to it.... as well as being dependent on a lot of other projects' timelines and releases. That said.... I won't miss it. I'm sure the Oscars will come back after their absence and roundly congratulate themselves for how they responded to the crisis. However, I for one am not sure how I'll get through another year with getting several lectures from millionaires that just received a gold statue.
