My favorite movie that James Hong appeared in is "Big Trouble in Little China". He was great as David Lo Pan. And of course his brief appearance in one of the first few episodes of "Seinfeld" is a classic.

I absolutely agree. Talking on what is essentially a radio show is pretty light lifting, but he’s absolutely entitled to take time with his family and not work another day in his life. His wife makes plenty of money and she absolutely deserves as much time as possible with her husband and more importantly his children need a father more then they need a couple thousand dollars a week.

In further reading of the comments below it looks like his illness has been advancing a bit and he needed to step away from the every day position. So, maybe an amicable split. Either way. This was a good episode. Regardless what other fans think, I like him and miss his humor. I was glad to see him the last few times he’s shown up on the show.
