Using the categories of Hotness, Romance, and our personal Thumb-o-meter, we determine the definitive ranking (according to us) of our favorite period drama couple. In the process, we discuss our love for Ben Lloyd-Hughes and how grateful we are he finally got to play a romantic leading man!

Couch is my favorite. Declaration next. The wedding kiss is interesting after watching “few times”. As C is kissed by X, she lifts herself up to him like on tiptoe. That’s kinda hot.

Ι also thought that the couch kiss, was the best even though it was the first time that they have kissed , and it should be more romantic and with a little bit fear ,not to go very far. But I saw passion in his kiss , and it was the only kiss that he opened his mouth, and played with hers,that I did not see in the other 3 in which they just pressed their lips and they stayed there....not opening mouths and in the wedding kiss ,as they should not in front of all people and the vicar. As for Ben, I did not know him as an actor ,before Sanditon, cause I am not UK resident, I am Greek and having searched for other roles in his career, I found that there was no way that I could imagine to see him acting and taking this part.I mean that I found him , not goodlooking at all.... for me at least and be infatuated and bessoted by his looks .The role of mr C has made me to "look" him differently.And after Sanditon ,after watching some of his interviews..I was wondering how the casting derector could imagine that this almost babyfaced man , could play with great success this part....But I guess is what you said , in your video.That women fall in love with the person and not with their looks....that love begins in our minds and in our hearts , with how men's contact is, towards women and people in general.A beautiful person is defined by the words he speaks when he is opening his mouth, and not by exterior appearances.Mr Fox was casted for E.Denam......good looking man , but his role made him unlovable.So in a parallel universe,if I could have my way thinking and acting,I would certainly tried to be acquainted with BLH if he possessed the character of Mr Colbourne's, than with the most handsome man in the world.

At number 5 - If Mrs Wheatley hadn't interrupted her bonnet would have been off. Not my favourite tho Number 4 the wedding kiss. It is a wedding kiss, nice. Your breakdown makes it look and sound a bit more racy. We had waited so much for this moment it is extra special. Number 3, the declaration kiss. This is lovely but it is a sad kiss. He is maybe happy cos he thinks yes, she has agreed to stay, but then it is all sad. I can feel Charlottes sadness in this kiss Number 2 the fathomless kiss. This is lovely and after a speech like that who wouldn't melt into this kiss. My personal favourite too Cheryl B Number 1 the couch kiss. I like this cos it is the first one but a couple i like better than this, includinf funny enough the sad kiss, this is lovely nevertheless. Great video ladies, going to search out more xx

My problems with the kisses is not BLH but Charlotte. She just seems to bat him on the arm, not draw her to him like I would’ve done.
