Om Swami says, sometimes people wonder how to lead one's life or sometimes they ask how do you know it's your inner calling. There comes a moment when you ask yourself, "what are you doing with your life". Om Swami talks about a book called the Second Mountain that he read a while back. The book says there are two mountains in one's life. When one tries to climb the first mountain, they want to reach the top of the summit and conquer the mountain. This is based on our desires in wanting to achieve success as we have been taught we will be happy when we conquer that mountain. In reality, that is often not the case, once we get what we set out to, there comes a moment where you realize that, "I'm on top of the summit but where do I go from here". That's where inner calling comes into play. That calling is so strong that we are no longer nagged by our ambition, instead we want to surrender, and we want a bigger thing to draw us into a grander existence.

And your mind is still wandering. And your question still remains--you certainly have NOT found your inner calling. I am not being negative here. I just want to point out, most of the time, we use Swamiji's speech as a kind of placebo,, in our idiotic lives . We don't really follow the teachings to the T. WALK THE TALK, friend! :) Have you found your inner calling? And have you started working relentlessly towards it? If not , this video is worthless for you. Doesn't matter how much you do Stuti of Swamiji-- that's simply NOT gonna change YOUR life. You have to walk the talk. Yourself. Kahlil Gibran says, Work is love in action. Hopefully, our work is a contribution in making this world, more peaceful, and loving, and beautiful. That's the calling. The Buddha calls it right livelihood. Such work gives fulfilment and peace. Because it's altruistic :) 🙏❤️

Guruji is showing us path and it’s us /we who need to choose the path,If one does not take any action nothing in world bring peace or change .. same thing Krishna also said to Arjuna after giving the Bhagavat Gita Gyan in the battle field . Work is love if done with passion.. and definitely our action and purpose of life should be towards well being of this society/world.. It is better to live your own life imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection as end of day self happiness matters..

Just yesterday I looked at Gurudev ( I have Him in my Puja ) and thought as to why there are no Saturday videos of enlightenment. I think past 3 Saturdays. Today after listening to him I feel so happy and full of bliss. He looked a bit thin for me. Am I wrong ?.
