If you watch Watame POV she is travelling between various stores trying to predict where the criminals are going to hit but she repeatedly gets redirected to a different area, whereupon the store she was originally travelling to gets robbed. Honestly I felt kind of bad for her, if she had been left to her own devices she would probably have made half a dozen arrests that day. Here she clearly wanted an excuse to arrest and search them but Subaru said to let them go, the gangs were really fortunate to have Subaru practically acting as an unintentional agent for them the whole time.

And the moment they got into the car, Laplus arrived and gave chase but, Mumei, being the gamer that she is managed to lose her... and then died on her skateboard inside a small room. That was so hilarious.

It was funny seeing them getting in to their car just as La+ was arriving and Mumei’s decision to not stay any longer being immediately validated. Especially as the previous day I remember watching Bae for a bit while she robbed a convenience store with Ayame and loosing a bit of time getting the safe code wrong, with Botan and La+ then arriving just a second in time to catch them. So you really have to assume that the second you do something that triggers the alarm, the cops will be on their way immediately.

Subaru’s terrible organisational skills were instrumental in a lot of the crime that the gangs got away with this day. In this instance Watame really wanted to arrest them but Subaru said to let them go, when she really should have said to stop and search them. Then afterwards she was patrolling around trying to guess which of the stores they would rob. She then got sent to another crime and as soon as she arrived there Mumei and Anya robbed the store she was originally heading towards. This happened multiple times and Watame was seriously unlucky missing out on preventing half a dozen or more robberies in this way throughout the day.

Apparently Okayu’s mechanic shop that she was running with Ao and Kronii was offering a 10% discount for each sticker that was applied to the vehicle. Watame probably agreed to that because the mechanic shop was even worse than EMS services provided by Fuwamoco when it came to pricing. Mumei managed to cut the price of the speed upgrades on her Honda Accord coupe lookalike from ¥9 million to ¥4.5 million by getting 5 (so a 50% discount). Unfortunately for Moom, it turned that car into a drift machine and she already didn’t like how the vehicle handled to begin with lol
