They were using welding equipment (oxy/act?) to burn paint and they didn't have a plan on how to deal with a fire? I just can't believe how utterly reckless and incompetent some people can be.

The Michipicoten almost sink a few months back.. Same livery, and with further research, owned by the same company.

This is not first times stuff like this happen .The same happen many years ago drydock in victoria bc lost near brand new vessels on fire.they are lucky get out on time and safe.thanks report.😮
